TD Super Bowl

The first touchdown of Super Bowl 55 matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was something football fans have seen many times before: with Tom Brady firing a pass to tight end Rob Gronkowski.

True to his brand, Gronkowski proceeded to spike the ball to the ground to add to his extensive collection of “Gronk Smashes.”

The touchdown gave the Buccaneers the lead after trailing the game 3-0 following a successful field goal attempt by Harrison Butker.

Tom Brady finished the regular season with 4,633 passing yards and 40 touchdowns with 12 interceptions. The Bucs hope that Brady will be able to sustain his early form in this Super Bowl matchup after seeing him disintegrate in the second half of the NFC Championship Game against the Green Bay Packers in which he threw multiple interceptions that gave Aaron Rodgers and company hope.

Tom Brady is looking to add to his six Super Bowl rings and so far, it looks like he is on pace to achieve that incredible feat.
