NFL Survivor Pool Stories After Week 12
Nitrogen Sports NFL Survivor Pool contest has basically turned into a staring contest, with barely anyone blinking. It’s been two weeks since we last saw a player win a pool and after Weeks 11 and Week 12, there have been zero winners. What will Week 13 bring us? With only five weeks remaining in the 2019 NFL Season, the action in the Survivor Pools is only about to get even more intense.

Saints answer Hall of Famer Pool players’ prayers
The same three players who survived Week 11 also emerged unschated following all the things that transpired in Week 12. Two of them, Users 52352 and 2316833 picked the New Orleans Saints, who were up against the Carolina Panthers.
Christian McCaffrey and the Panthers sure did not make it an entirely enjoyable games for the Saints pickers, as they kept in step with New Orleans up to the fourth quarter. The Saints won, 34-31. The other player, User 5088378 opted for the Cleveland Browns. It wasn’t much of a risky play, as the Browns only had the Miami Dolphins last Sunday.
The Browns, even without the suspended Myles Garrett, was able to dismantle the Fins, 41-24.
Apart from the Hall of Famer pool, other pools saw their field barely got reduced. The Free Pool went from 23 down to 18; the Prospect pool lost only two players out of 14; the Draftee and Rookie pools saw just five entries eliminated combined out of 21; the Captain pool went 6 for 8; lastly, the All Pro is now down to five from eight last week.
Some games to look forward to in Week 13
San Francisco 49ers at Baltimore Ravens
You can’t convince us that there’s another game in Week 13 bigger than the one between the 49ers and the Ravens. The Niners have the best record in the NFC, and are just fresh off dismantling Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers. The Ravens breezed by Week 12, leaving the Los Angeles Rams under a heap of rubble following a dominant win in Hollywood.
Oakland Raiders at Kansas City Chiefs
The Raiders could atone their upset loss in Week 12 to the New York Jets if they could take down the Chiefs on Sunday. The Raiders, who also lost to Kansas City way back in Week 2, can tied the Chiefs atop the AFC West standings with a win. That’s not the scenario the Chiefs would want to happen so look for them to come in ready into this rematch.
