What to know about the Auburn Tigers (5-0)
Auburn vs Florida 2019 NCAAF Week 6 moneyline odds for the Tigers: TBA
There’s a new Bo taking the throne in Auburn, and that’s quarterback Bo Nix, who had another huge game in last week’s dominant 56-23 win at home over the Mississippi State Bulldogs. Nix threw for 335 yards (16/21) with two touchdowns and a 99.2 quarterback rating. Nix also rushed for a score with 56 yards on seven carries. Florida is not going to be as generous to Nix, so the Tigers will have to get more support from their other playmakers — or better pass protection.
The Tigers allowed two sacks to the Bulldogs. On the season, the Tigers have only given up six sacks, tied for second-fewest in the SEC. With Nix steering the Tigers’ offense, Auburn has managed to rank, as of this writing, 16th in the nation with 38.0 points per game. The Tigers have scored at least 27 points in their games against the Oregon Ducks, Texas A&M, and Mississippi State.
What to know about the Florida Gators (5-0)
Auburn vs Florida 2019 NCAAF Week 6 moneyline odds for the Gators: TBA
Florida’s defense isn’t messing around. The Gators pitched a shutout last Saturday, holding the visiting Towson Tigers in Gainesville, 38-0. Kyle Trask had 188 passing yards (18/20) and two touchdowns, while Emory Jones passed for 74 yards (6/8) with a TD.
But the real headliner for the Gators was their stop unit, as usual. The Gators limited Towson to only 288 total yards while also forcing three turnovers. Florida has plenty of defensive weapons from the defensive line to the secondary. It’s largely the reason why the Gators are No. 1 in the SEC in both sacks (24) and interceptions (9).
- The Tigers are 5-0 ATS in their last five games against Florida.
- The UNDER is 3-0-1 in the Tigers’ last four road games.
- The Gators are 3-0-1 ATS in their last four games at home.
- The Gators are 5-0 SU in their last five home games.
