    F1 Brazilian Grand Prix 2019

The second to the last race of the season, the Brazilian Grand Prix, is as iconic a Formula 1 race as it gets. Famous for Alain Prost or Michael Schumacher’s past dominance, the circuit in São Paulo finds the title race already run and won. Lewis Hamilton is once again champion and in his own words “working on a masterpiece”.

But, don’t expect him to just lay over in Brazil. Nitrogen Sports Blog lays down the favorites for this race per the F1 Brazilian Grand Prix betting odds this 2019.
    When: November 17, 2019

    Lewis Hamilton

He’s the champion again after his victory in the United States Grand Prix. This is his sixth career win. And, although Hamilton is clearly building one of the most impressive legacies in F1 history, this season has been without many of the highlights that have accompanied previous wins. It’s reason enough to believe that the British driver will use the opportunity of racing in the Brazilian GP, to further showcase his skill.

After all, Hamilton will want to have the last word after losing to Valtteri Bottas in the US and, also, knowing he will most likely be going against Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel, an expert in this particular race.

    Max Verstappen

Max Verstappen accompanies Lewis Hamilton as one of the chief favorites to win the Brazilian GP. But is the Dutch driver really that good? The answer needs to be put into perspective. While far from capable of winning the 2019 season title outright, Verstappen displays incredible natural talent and has performed, on occasion, brilliantly considering he is just 22 years old.

The Dutch driver has set numerous records in recent years (youngest full-time driver in the F1, youngest race winner) and has no less than seven podiums this season. There’s no reason we should expect Hamilton to be napping in his next race. If he does, Verstappen will more than gladly lead the way.

Will we see Hamilton take first place in Brazil or do you see either Verstappen or the other top favorites reaching the finish line first?

    Valtteri Bottas

Bottas has rarely been considered a favorite throughout the races in 2019. And, judging matters from this perspective, the Mercedes driver has outperformed expectations. He’s just won the United States GP and sits second in the standings.

In fact, with time running out, it looked like Bottas could be the only driver to put up a challenge to Hamilton’s title chase. Bottas is on a hot streak, he has never won the Brazilian GP before (he did finish second in 2017 though) and could be the driver to watch in the second to last race of the season.

    Charles Leclerc

At 22 years of age and an impressive showing while at Sauber, Leclerc is deemed to be Ferrari’s future. Yes, Vettel is a tested winner on the Brazilian GP. And, yes, Verstappen, who is coincidentally also only 22, has proven himself to be more naturally gifted.

But, pride is at stake for Scuderia Ferrari who’ve lost the Constructors title to Mercedes for the 2019 season. The Brazilian GP is one of the most beautiful circuits in the F1 calendar and Ferrari will want to make a statement. Leclerc looks likely to represent their biggest chance of having things go their way for a change this season.
