Washington Wizards vs. Indiana Pacers game preview
2019-20 NBA Week 3 Must-Watch Games No. 1
When: Wednesday, November 6, 2019
Where: Bankers Life Fieldhouse, Indianapolis, Indiana
NBA Odds: Wizards (TBA) vs. Pacers (TBA)
What to know about the Wizards (2-4)
The Wizards showed they will play a fast-paced and exciting brand of basketball this season. They were able to keep in step with the Houston Rockets and put up 158 points in a losing effort. It’s hard to imagine losing after scoring 158 points. The Wizards will have to up the effort on defense if they expect to improve over last year’s 11th place finish in the Western Conference.
What to know about the Pacers (3-3)
After a rough 0-3 start, the defense has been a saving grace for the Pacers early this season. They’ve been piling up blocks and holding opponents to a lower shooting percentage than last season. Domantas Sabonis was added specifically to improve the defense, but he’s given the team a boost offensively as well.
- The Pacers were 3-1 ATS vs the Wizards 2018.
- The total went UNDER in 3 of the 4 times these teams met last season.
Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Memphis Grizzlies game preview
2019-20 NBA Week 3 Must-Watch Games No. 2
When: Wednesday, November 6, 2019
Where: FedEx Forum, Memphis Tennessee
NBA Odds: Timberwolves (TBA) vs. Grizzlies (TBA)
What to know about the Timberwolves (4-2)
Minnesota made some changes in the offseason in hopes of turning the team into a contender as soon as possible. They hired the youngest coach in the league, Ryan Saunders in hopes of speaking a new winning culture. It may be working because the T-Wolves seem to have an added fighting edge. Speaking of fighting edge, Karl Anthony Towns will be back for Minnesota after serving a 2 game suspension for his scuffle with Joel Embiid.
What to know about the Grizzlies (1-5)
The inexperienced Grizzlies may have to deal with some growing pains this year. But even though they’re in rebuilding mode, the Grizzlies have a lot to be excited about. Ja Morant has burst on to the scene. He looks like he has the potential to be a dynamic star and has already put up some impressive games for Memphis.
- The Total went UNDER 3 out of the 4 times these teams met last season.
- The Grizzlies were 3-1 ATS vs the Timberwolves in 2018.

Portland Trailblazers vs. Los Angeles Clippers game preview
2019-20 NBA Week 3 Must-Watch Games No. 3
When: Thursday, November, 7 2019
Where: Staples Center, Los Angeles, California
NBA Odds: Trailblazers (TBA) vs Clippers (TBA)
What to know about the Trailblazers (3-3)
Injuries have hampered the Blazers early in 2019. With Pau Gasol and Jusuf Nurcic out of action, Hassan Whiteside was filling the big man role nicely for Portland. But he banged up his knee against the Thunder and the team could be thin down the middle. Gasol’s return cannot come fast enough for the Blazers.
What to know about the Clippers (5-2)
Kawhi Leonard has looked every bit like the MVP candidate the Clippers expected. While the team hasn’t been completely dominant, they’re off to a good start and should get better with time together and once Paul George returns to action. He took a step forward in his recovery from double shoulder surgery. George was able to practice and participate in 3-o- 3 games. He could make his return to the lineup soon.
- The total went UNDER 3 of the 4 times these teams met in 2018.
- The Blazers were 3-1 ATS vs the Clippers last season.
Milwaukee Bucks vs. Utah Jazz game preview
2019-20 NBA Week 3 Must-Watch Games No. 4
When: Friday, November 8, 2019
Where: Vivint Smart Home Arena, Salt Lake City, Utah
NBA Odds: Bucks (TBA) vs. Jazz (TBA)
What to know about the Bucks (5-2)
The Bucks are off to a slow start after coming into the season with big expectations. Although the Bucks have been sluggish out of the gate, Giannis Antetokounmpo was not at fault. The MVP might even be better this year. He said he wanted to improve his 3-point game and wasn’t kidding. He’s already hit some big shots from downtown, including one to seal a win against the defending champions, Toronto Raptors.
What to know about the Jazz (4-3)
Last week the Jazz took an embarrassing loss to the previously winless Sacramento Kings. But the overall feeling is still good in Utah because the team is still off to a solid start overall. Plus, Rudy Gobert is heating up offensively while delivering dominant defense on a nightly basis. Dante Exum is still recovering from knee surgery. Although his return is supposedly close, an exact timetable has not been revealed.
- The total went UNDER 3 out of 4 times these teams played last year.
- The Jazz were 2-2 SU against the Bucks last season.
Los Angeles Lakers vs. Toronto Raptors game preview
2019-20 NBA Week 3 Must-Watch Games No. 5
When: Sunday, November 10, 2019
Where: Scotiabank Arena, Toronto, Ontario
NBA Odds: Lakers (TBA) vs. Raptors (TBA)
What to know about the Lakers (5-1)
Anthony Davis says that LeBron James is the best player in the world. And after Davis put up a couple of monster outings including a 40 point 20 rebound game the NBA is on notice. So long as the two are healthy, the Lakers are force to reckon with in the league.
What to know about the Raptors (4-2)
The Raptors were counted out of true contention by many pundits. But the team is thriving, even without Kawhi Leonard. Pascal Siakam continues his torrid start while the Raptors get more and more from their depth players. But most importantly, the Raptors defense has been as staunch as ever. There’s no reason to think they won’t be a top contender in the Eastern Conference.
- The Lakers were 2-0 ATS vs the Raptors last year.
- The total went UNDER both times these teams faced each other last season.
