The 4 NBA Games You Don’t Want to Miss this Week

All Star Games Preview

Coming out of the All-Star break, the intensity is going to ratchet up and NBA contenders will start to separate from the pretenders. With the magnitude of the games growing, here’s a look at the key games everyone will be talking about this week.

Boston Celtics vs Milwaukee Bucks (February 21)

The Celtics were expected by many to be running away with the top seed in the East, instead, they’re trying to get back on the right track in the second half.

Out of the gate, they’ll get a tough test against Giannis and the conference leading Bucks. Tune in to see if Antetokounmpo remains the beast of the east.

Dallas Mavericks vs Denver Nuggets (February 22)

Another game you don’t want to miss is a game between the Denver Nuggets hitting the road to face Luka Doncic and the rest of the Dallas Maverick squad.

The Denver Nuggets have been surprising their opponents and onlookers all season.

Nikola Jokic has emerged as a budding superstar, while the team is also bolstered by Isaiah Thomas’ recent return from injury. This long awaited addition makes the Nuggets even more dangerous.

The Mavericks, on the other hand, sit outside the playoff picture. They are focused on a future where newly acquired Kristaps Porzingis will be paired with rookie sensation Luka Doncic.

Houston Rockets vs Golden State Warriors (February 23)

The Warriors might not be on the road towards 65 plus wins, but they’re still the class of the Western Conference.

The team has kicked it into another gear since Demarcus Cousins joined the fray and will be tough to beat down the stretch. When they last met on January 3rd, the Rockets beat the Warriors in a 135-134 overtime thriller.

James Harden’s 44 points led the team to victory, and they’ll need another stellar performance from the Beard to replicate results.

Toronto Raptors vs San Antonio Spurs (February 24)

The last time these two teams played, the Spurs took it to the Raptors on their way to a 125-107 win in San Antonio. It’s a juicy event every time these squads meet due to last year’s Kawhi Leonard saga.

It was a season long drama that culminated in the Spurs and Raptors swapping superstars.

The latest twist in the tale came at the 2019 trade deadline. Marc Gasol joined the 1st place Raptors after rumors spread that the big man requested a trade.

The Spurs haven’t been quite as successful with DeMar DeRozan on board, but they’ll be fighting for a playoff spot down the stretch.

This is definitely a must-watch to see if the Raptors can redeem themselves this time around, or if the Spurs will still come on top – showing fans that you can never count the Spurs out despite the roster changes in recent years.
