2020 PGA Tour: The Bermuda Championship Tournament Purse and Payout Breakdown
The 2020 PGA Tour will fly over to the Western Hemisphere after the successful and history-making Zozo Championship in Japan. From the Land of the Rising Sun, the PGA Tour will stage its first ever official tournament in Bermuda.
The purse isn’t as lucrative as those in other PGA events, though, but that’s not stopping players from trooping to the island to compete for the largest slice of the $3 million purse.

Golf will be a main reason to visit Bermuda late this October and into the first weekend of November with the inaugural Bermuda Championship. This being the first time that an official PGA Tour event will be held on the island, all eyes are on how the tournament will be handled.
The 2019 Bermuda Championship payout will include the $540,000 that will be pocketed by the champion. For comparison, Tiger Woods took home $1.75 million when he won the Zozo Championship. Justin Thomas also got $1.75 million by topping the CJ Cup @ Nine Bridges. A
lthough Woods, Thomas, and the other big names in the sport such as Rory McIlroy and Brooks Koepka will not be competing in Bermuda, there won’t be a shortage of talent on the field, including current 2020 FedExCup leader, Lanto Griffin.
