Cincinnati Bengals vs. Tennessee Titans

Where: Nissan Stadium, Nashville, TN
When: Saturday, January 22, 2022, 4:30 PM ET
Odds: Cincinnati Bengals (+3.5) at Tennessee Titans (-3.5); total: 47.0
Where to Watch: CBS

The Bengals kicked off the 2022 NFL Playoffs on Saturday and barely escaped with a 26-19 home win over the Las Vegas Raiders for their first playoff win in 31 years. Although Joe Burrow looked fantastic under center that game (24-of-34 passing, 244 yards, two touchdowns), the Bengals’ defense looked shaky against the Raiders, surrendering 385 yards of offense to feisty Vegas.

Cincy would need to regain its defensive composure against Tennessee, who’ll likely get the best reinforcements that the team could ever ask for. Thanks to their first-round bye, the Titans may have given enough time for stud running back Derrick Henry to return to the field after being held out of action in Week 9 due to a serious foot injury. With or without Henry, though, the Titans have looked good down the stretch, winning four of their last five games.

Cincinnati is actually 5-2 against Tennessee since 2005 (6-1 ATS). On the other hand, the Mike Vrabel-led Titans have had four playoff games (two wins) since the 2019 season, whereas the inexperienced Bengals only have that one win from Saturday to show for.

Buffalo Bills vs. Kansas City Chiefs

Where: GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas City, MO
When: Sunday, January 23, 2022, 6:30 PM ET
Odds: Buffalo Bills (+2) at Kansas City Chiefs (-2); total: 54.0
Where to Watch: CBS

Buffalo’s 47-17 demolition of the Patriots on Saturday night goes to show that Sean McDermott’s gang is a real playoff threat after having the top-ranked defense in the NFL during the regular season. The Bills’ offense also looked spectacular, as Josh Allen threw just four incompletions on 25 pass attempts for 308 passing yards and a whopping five passing touchdowns against a strong New England defense.

However, the Chiefs would not be outdone themselves the night after. Kansas City sent Steelers veteran quarterback Ben Roethlisberger into the sunset with a massive 42-21 rout. Patrick Mahomes equaled Allen’s passing TDs the other day with five of his own against Pittsburgh along with 404 yards through the air; albeit with an early pick-six that gave the Steelers an early 7-0 lead.

Although Buffalo lost to KC in last year’s AFC Championship Game, the Bills got a bit of revenge earlier this regular season with an 18-point win at Arrowhead in Week 5. All things considered, the Bills are just 2-5 against the Chiefs since 2013 (SU/ATS).
