As of this writing, the prize purse for the 2022 Masters Tournament has yet to be announced, with the total payout amount set to be announced on Saturday. But based on last year’s run of the fabled tournament, the total prize pool is expected to be greater than the $11.5 million that was awarded to its participants the last time around.

Being a major tournament, The Masters is one of the most lucrative tournaments on the PGA TOUR calendar. Although, it’s often just ranked third amongst all majors behind the U.S. Open and the PGA Championship with prize purses of $12 million apiece from 2021.
