2022 NFL Playoffs: San Francisco 49ers vs. Los Angeles Rams NFC Championship Game Betting Odds, Preview, and Picks

Two NFC West rivals meet in the deciding game for the conference title this Sunday night. The San Francisco 49ers did the unthinkable by beating Aaron Rodgers and the top-seeded Packers, whereas the Los Angeles Rams also took down another legendary quarterback with a tight win over Tom Brady and the Buccaneers. Will the Rams end up “hosting” Super Bowl 56 at SoFi Stadium in a couple of weeks from now, or do the Niners have one more upset left in them? Read on for our odds and preview for the San Francisco 49ers vs. Los Angeles Rams NFC Championship Game below. San Francisco remains unbeaten against Green Bay for the fourth straight playoff encounter and is arguably the scariest team left in the postseason right now. The freezing weather in Lambeau Field certainly played a role in the lackluster showing from Niners quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, who finished with just 11 completions for 131 passing yards and one interception. However, it was the 49ers’ defense and special teams that were impressive at shutting down Arron Rodgers and the Packers’ mighty offense. San Fran had two blocked kicks, with one of them being returned for a touchdown for the team’s only trip to the end zone the entire contest. The Niners also managed to sack Rodgers five times and forced a fumble off of tight end Marcedes Lewis to swing the tide in the Niners’ favor for the better part of the game, as they held the Packers to just 48 yards of total offense in the second half.  What to know about the Los Angeles Rams San Francisco 49ers vs. Los Angeles Rams betting odds for Los Angeles: -3.5 Similar to the 49ers, the Los Angeles Rams needed a game-winning field goal to win their Divisional Round matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Rams escaped Raymond James Stadium with a 30-27 win to deny Tom Brady his 10th trip to the conference championship round over the last 12 years. Matthew Stafford stayed hot in his second-ever playoff game as a Ram, completing 28 of 38 passes for 366 yards and a pair of touchdowns. It was the regular season’s leading receiver in Cooper Kupp who had another electric outing, as Kupp hauled in nine catches for 183 receiving yards and one of Stafford’s two TD passes. What’s quite concerning, however, is that LA’s defense nearly blew a 24-point lead by the middle of the third quarter, as the Bucs scored 24 unanswered points themselves before Stafford march his team’s offense down the field with a five-play, 63-yard drive to set up Matt Gay’s game-winning boot as time expired.    [dynamic_cta header_upper="EARN MORE BITCOIN" header_lower="CHOOSE ANY SQUARES CONTEST " content="Don't get left out. The team is also on a six-game winning streak against the Rams (5-1 ATS). Los Angeles is 4-3 in its last seven home games (3-4 ATS). The point total went under in five of those seven homestands. What’s your San Francisco 49ers vs. Los Angeles Rams NFC Championship Game prediction? Although the Rams’ offense looked much better than that of San Francisco’s own offense this past weekend, we shouldn’t forget that Sean McVay and Co. have not been able to beat the Niners for quite some time now. Having home-field advantage is certainly a plus for LA, but the 49ers’ chances of staging another road upset are at their highest with how well their defense and special teams have been able to bail them out of tight situations this entire postseason.  Be sure to read our NFL betting guide to get you ready for the 2022 NFL Playoffs’ wagering action. 2022 NFL Playoffs: Cincinnati Bengals vs. Kansas City Chiefs AFC Championship Game Betting Odds, Preview, and Picks

One half of the 2022 AFC Championship Game features the Cincinnati Bengals, who went from a four-win team last season to Super Bowl contenders overnight. The other half of the matchup has the Kansas City Chiefs back from an intense duel in the Divisional Round and are back in the conference championship round for the fourth time in as many seasons. Which team will represent the AFC in Super Bowl LVI? Read on for our odds and preview for the Cincinnati Bengals vs. Kansas City Chiefs AFC Championship Game below. The Bengals are back in the AFC Championship Game for the first time since 1988 and, surprisingly, it wasn’t phenomenal young quarterback Joe Burrow who was the key to their latest win. Despite completing 28 of 37 passes for 348 yards, Burrow failed to find the end zone and even threw one costly interception. It was starting running back Joe Mixon who scored Cincinnati’s lone offensive TD to put his team up 10 in the middle of the third quarter. On a more positive note, Burrow is still clicking with former LSU teammate Ja’Marr Chase, as Chase finished with 109 receiving yards on five catches. The biggest surprise, meanwhile, is the Bengals’ defense shutting down the Titans’ offense with a healthy Derrick Henry back in the lineup, as they managed to pick off Tennessee’s Ryan Tannehill on three occasions. On the other hand, allowing a whopping nine sacks to the Titans is not a good look for Cincy’s pass protection, either. What to know about the Kansas City Chiefs Cincinnati Bengals vs. Kansas City Chiefs betting odds for Kansas City: -7 On Sunday night, NFL fans witnessed one of the most amazing playoff games of all time, as the Kansas City Chiefs outlasted the Buffalo Bills in Sunday night’s 42-36 overtime barn-burner. The Chiefs remain the team to beat in the conference and are the gatekeepers of the AFC Championship Game for the fourth consecutive season. What more did we expect out of Patrick Mahomes in another big moment? The former league and Super Bowl MVP had an immaculate gun-slinging battle against Buffalo’s Josh Allen, with Mahomes’ 378 passing yards and four offensive TDs (one on the ground) proving to be more potent that evening. This includes a magnificent eight-play, 75-yard game-winning touchdown drive in OT to prevent the Bills another shot at a comeback. For as amazing as KC’s offense was, the same could not be said about the team’s defense, which allowed 422 yards of offense from Allen and the Bills. Buffalo also converted all four of their fourth-down attempts and did not turn the ball over at all. In turn, the Chiefs need to regain their composure, especially with their 34-31 loss to the Bengals in Week 17 of the regular season still relatively fresh in their collective memories.   [dynamic_cta header_upper="EARN MORE BITCOIN" header_lower="CHOOSE ANY SQUARES CONTEST " content="Don't get left out. The point total went under in each of the team’s last four road trips. Kansas City is a perfect 7-0 at home in the preseason since 2020 (6-1 ATS). The point total went over in five of those seven playoff games played in Arrowhead. What’s your Cincinnati Bengals vs. Kansas City Chiefs AFC Championship Game prediction? The Chiefs were and continue to be the cream of the AFC crop with their amazing nail-biting victory over the Bills and another clutch performance from Mahomes. However, let’s not forget that the Bengals did beat KC in a crucial game late in the regular season as well. That being said, if Burrow puts out a performance akin to Josh Allen this past weekend(and he’s certainly capable of doing so), Cincy has a really good chance to upset the reigning kings of the AFC. 2022 NFL Playoffs: Los Angeles Rams vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers NFC Divisional Round Betting Odds, Preview, and Picks

It wouldn’t be an NFL postseason without Tom Brady in the mix. Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are still alive in their quest of winning back-to-back Super Bowl titles and the eighth in TB12’s storied career. However, the resurgent Los Angeles Rams are entering Sunday’s Divisional Round clash with better health and more confidence than the defending champions. The Rams humbled division rivals the Arizona Cardinals in last weekend’s wild-card game, 34-11, with a complete showing of their depth and talent. Stafford, who’s thrown eight interceptions in his last four starts of the regular season, completed 13 of his 17 passes for 202 yards, two touchdowns, and not one pick against the Cards. Los Angeles leaned on solid performances from their running back duo of Sony Michel and Cam Akers, who combined for 113 rushing yards on 30 carries to keep Arizona’s potent offense on the sidelines and eat up as much clock as possible. The Rams’ defense also did a terrific job by holding the Cardinals to just 178 yards of total offense and 0-for-9 on third downs whilst also putting up two sacks and two forced turnovers. Former Super Bowl MVP Von Miller accounted for one of those sacks and finished with six tackles as one of the biggest additions to LA’s already star-studded stop unit.  What to know about the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Los Angeles Rams vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers betting odds for Tampa Bay: -2.5 Not even the lack of offensive weaponry was enough to deny the Tampa Bay Buccaneers a victory over the Philadelphia Eagles in their Divisional Round battle last weekend. The Bucs cruised to a 31-15 win over the Eagles, as Tom Brady put on another clinical display of postseason football under center. Brady went 29-of-37 for 271 passing yards and two passing TDs, connecting with his two best remaining options downfield early and often. Mike Evans led all Bucs receivers with 10 targets, nine catches, and 117 receiving yards to go with his trip to the end zone. Meanwhile, TB12’s long-time Pats teammate, Rob Gronkowski, also dominated with five catches for 31 yards and another score. The Buccaneers have been unbeatable over the past month. However, their defense will be put to the ultimate test against a potent Rams offense. The Bucs have merely had to deal with lackluster offenses during their current four-game win streak, with two of those victories coming against the disappointing Panthers and another versus the lowly Jets.   [dynamic_cta header_upper="EARN MORE BITCOIN" header_lower="CHOOSE ANY SQUARES CONTEST " content="Don't get left out. The point total went over in four of the team’s last six road games. Tampa Bay is 11-1 at home dating back to the previous season, including the playoffs (10-2 ATS). However, the team is 0-2 against the Rams with Brady as its starting QB and 1-7 overall in this matchup since 2012 (SU/ATS). What’s your Los Angeles Rams vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Divisional Round prediction? It’s really hard to bet against Brady at home in the playoffs, especially with how the Bucs looked against the Eagles last week. Then again, the Rams had a much more impressive showing than Tampa Bay with their own postseason win against the Cardinals and are much healthier on both sides of the ball as well. In turn, consider this NFC Divisional Round showdown a toss-up. Be sure to read our NFL betting guide to get you ready for the 2022 NFL Playoffs’ wagering action. 2022 NFL Playoffs: San Francisco 49ers vs. Green Bay Packers NFC Divisional Round Betting Odds, Preview, and Picks

Familiar NFC rivals face off once more as the San Francisco 49ers take on the Green Bay Packers for the fourth time over the last two seasons. The Packers have won the two most recent meetings, but it’s been the Niners who’ve gotten the last laugh in their latest postseason battles. Who’ll come out on top of this massive showdown in Lambeau Saturday night? Read on for our odds and preview for the San Francisco 49ers vs. Green Bay Packers NFC Divisional Round matchup below. This keeps the Niners’ streak of six straight playoff appearances with wins in each of their opening-round matchups alive dating back to 2002. A huge concern for San Francisco heading into Lambeau is the status of starting quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo. The veteran signal-caller went just 16-of-25 for 172 passing yards and a costly interception against Dallas, and Garoppolo also injured his shoulder during that contest.  Although Jimmy G is expected to start versus the Packers nursing said injury, the Niners should still lean on their prolific run game thanks to the dynamic duo of rookie running back Elijah Mitchell and All-Pro, multi-talented wideout Deebo Samuel. Mitchell and Samuel combined for 168 rushing yards with each of them finding the end zone against the Cowboys, as San Fran looks to exploit a beatable Green Bay run defense. What to know about the Green Bay Packers San Francisco 49ers vs. Green Bay Packers betting odds for Green Bay: -6 Thanks to having the best record in the NFL at end of the regular season, the Green Bay Packers have had plenty of time to gather themselves for yet another strong playoff run. The Packers won five of their last six regular-season contests, opting to rest most of their starters in the Week 18 loss to the Lions. Aaron Rodgers appears in line to win back-to-back league MVP awards after throwing for 4,115 yards and 37 passing TDs to just four interceptions all season long. The Packers boast a top-10 offense, one that ranked 10th in the league both in yardage (365.6 YPG) and points scored (26.5 PPG) on the strength of Rodgers’ top weapons in wideout Davante Adams and starting back Aaron Jones. Green Bay’s defense, on the other hand, isn’t as imposing as many believe it is given the team’s success this year, ranking 14th during the regular season in yards and points allowed. On the bright side, standout defenders in cornerback Jaire Alexander (shoulder) and linebacker Za’Darius Smith (back) are expected to make their long-awaited returns to the field. Alexander has not seen action since Week 4, while Smith will be making his first start since the opening week of the regular season.   [dynamic_cta header_upper="EARN MORE BITCOIN" header_lower="CHOOSE ANY SQUARES CONTEST " content="Don't get left out. The team is also 5-2 in its last seven road games (SU/ATS). Green Bay is 14-1 at home since November of the 2020 season, including the playoffs (11-4 ATS). The team is 4-2 in its last six games as favorites to win, albeit with a 2-4 record against the spread in those contests. As such, we wouldn’t be surprised if the 49ers manage to cover the spread or even outright upset Green Bay on Saturday night to hand Rodgers yet another failed run at his second Super Bowl win. 2022 NFL Playoffs: Cincinnati Bengals vs. Tennessee Titans AFC Divisional Round Betting Odds, Preview, and Picks

The Cincinnati Bengals have finally broken their lengthy winless playoff drought and are playing better than expected in the second year of the Joe Burrow era. They’re now set to face the top-seeded Tennessee Titans, who are also having an impressive campaign considering their team’s health issues throughout the 2021 regular season. They defeated the Las Vegas Raiders in last Saturday’s AFC Wild Card Game, 26-19, with former Heisman Trophy winner Joe Burrow looking like a playoff veteran already in just his second year in the NFL. Burrow completed 24 of 34 passes for 244 yards and two touchdowns, as he continued his steady connection with his former LSU teammate Ja’Marr Chase. The rookie wideout hauled in nine of 12 targets for 116 receiving yards (both team-highs), while tight end C.J. Uzomah also had a breakout performance with six catches for 64 yards and a score. What’s quite concerning, on the other hand, is that Cincy’s defense hasn’t been up to par of late. The Bengals nearly squandered a sizeable 14-point lead in before halftime and needed a strong defensive stand with the Raiders having one last drive to possibly tie the game in the final minutes of the fourth quarter. Four of Cincinnati’s last six games were decided by four points or less, with the team going just 2-2 in those contests.   What to know about the Tennessee Titans Cincinnati Bengals vs. Tennessee Titans betting odds for Tennessee: -3.5 The first-round bye could not have come at a more opportune moment for the Tennessee Titans, who needed all the time they could get to gear up for another solid postseason push.  Tennessee hung on to a  28-25 victory over the lowly Houston Texans in the final week of the regular season to clinch the No. 1 seed in the AFC, with the team going 4-1 over its last five outings. Ryan Tannehill lit up the Texans to the tune of 287 passing yards and four touchdowns, and the former NFL Comeback Player of the Year will receive plenty of help just in time for his fifth postseason start as a Titan. Stud running back Derrick Henry is expected to return from a serious foot injury that he suffered in Week 8. Henry, who’s the reigning NFL Offensive Player of the Year, was on pace for another 2,000-yard rushing season before getting hurt and should provide another angle of attack for a Titans team that ranked 17th in offensive yardage (342.5 YPG) and 15th in points scored (24.6 PPG) during the regular season.   [dynamic_cta header_upper="EARN MORE BITCOIN" header_lower="CHOOSE ANY SQUARES CONTEST " content="Don't get left out. The team also has identical records of 5-2 straight-up and 6-1 against the spread in its last seven meetings against the Titans since 2005. Tennessee is 7-1 in its last eight home games (6-2 ATS). 2022 NFL Playoffs: Updated Matchups for the AFC Divisional Round

The AFC Playoff picture is set for the much-awaited Divisional Round following the action from Sunday’s postseason slate. Cincinnati Bengals vs. Tennessee Titans Where: Nissan Stadium, Nashville, TN When: Saturday, January 22, 2022, 4:30 PM ET Odds: Cincinnati Bengals (+3.5) at Tennessee Titans (-3.5); total: 47.0 Where to Watch: CBS The Bengals kicked off the 2022 NFL Playoffs on Saturday and barely escaped with a 26-19 home win over the Las Vegas Raiders for their first playoff win in 31 years. Although Joe Burrow looked fantastic under center that game (24-of-34 passing, 244 yards, two touchdowns), the Bengals’ defense looked shaky against the Raiders, surrendering 385 yards of offense to feisty Vegas. Cincy would need to regain its defensive composure against Tennessee, who’ll likely get the best reinforcements that the team could ever ask for. Thanks to their first-round bye, the Titans may have given enough time for stud running back Derrick Henry to return to the field after being held out of action in Week 9 due to a serious foot injury. With or without Henry, though, the Titans have looked good down the stretch, winning four of their last five games. Cincinnati is actually 5-2 against Tennessee since 2005 (6-1 ATS). On the other hand, the Mike Vrabel-led Titans have had four playoff games (two wins) since the 2019 season, whereas the inexperienced Bengals only have that one win from Saturday to show for.   [dynamic_cta header_upper="EARN MORE BITCOIN" header_lower="CHOOSE ANY SQUARES CONTEST " content="Don't get left out. The Bills’ offense also looked spectacular, as Josh Allen threw just four incompletions on 25 pass attempts for 308 passing yards and a whopping five passing touchdowns against a strong New England defense. However, the Chiefs would not be outdone themselves the night after. Kansas City sent Steelers veteran quarterback Ben Roethlisberger into the sunset with a massive 42-21 rout. Patrick Mahomes equaled Allen’s passing TDs the other day with five of his own against Pittsburgh along with 404 yards through the air; albeit with an early pick-six that gave the Steelers an early 7-0 lead. Although Buffalo lost to KC in last year’s AFC Championship Game, the Bills got a bit of revenge earlier this regular season with an 18-point win at Arrowhead in Week 5. All things considered, the Bills are just 2-5 against the Chiefs since 2013 (SU/ATS). To close out their regular-season schedule, the Cards suffered a 38-30 upset loss in Glendale to the Seattle Seahawks. Arizona is fortunate that it had a terrific first half in which they won seven stragiht to start the season.  The Cards fell off in the final 11 weeks, as injuries took a toll on the team. Speaking of which, Arizona won’t have its best offensive weapon for the NFC Wild Card matchup against the Rams, with wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins still on the injured reserve.  Meanwhile, running back James Conner is considered questionable for the Rams game and his availability could be decided on the day on Monday, so that’s one thing to keep an eye close on. Conner rushed for two touchdowns in the Cardinals’ 37-20 win in LA over the Rams back in Week 4, while Kyler Murray completed 24-of-32 passes for 268 yards and a pair of touchdowns. What to know about the Los Angeles Rams Arizona Cardinals vs. Los Angeles Rams betting odds for LA: -4 The Rams also lost their final assignment of the regular season, as they got thwarted by the San Francisco 49ers in a 27-24 overtime loss at home. Still, the Rams had a pretty strong conclusion to the regular season, winning all but one of their six games after Week 12. They also avenged their loss to the Cardinals earlier this season with a 30-23 victory in Glendale in Week 14.  The Rams made sure to keep Murray grounded that time around, as the Cardinals quarterback passed for 383 yards but had zero touchdowns and got picked twice all the while Matthew Stafford was throwing darts on the other end of the field. Stafford went 23-of-30 for 287 passing yards and three touchdowns in that game.  Given the slump of the Cardinals, Stafford and the Rams’ passing game could spell even more trouble for Arizona. Cooper Kupp is almost a lock to wreak havoc downfield against any team, having burned opposing secondaries in the entire regular season.    [dynamic_cta header_upper="BET BITCOIN ON" header_lower="2022 NFL PLAYOFFS" content="Join our 2021 Nitro N[dynamic_cta header_upper="EARN MORE BITCOIN" header_lower="CHOOSE ANY SQUARES CONTEST " content="Don't get left out. They allowed 202 rushing yards to Seattle in Week 18. The Rams are 28-13-1 ATS in their last 42 games versus NFC teams. Both teams are capable of playing like true Super Bowl favorites but have also frustrated their respective fanbases with letdown performances in the regular season. However, it’s the Rams who are in a much better form based on recent performance and also have the advantage of playing at home. Then again, the Cards have defeated LA at SoFi Stadium earlier this season. This matchup could be decided in the final drive of the contedst. Denver Broncos vs. Cleveland Browns 2021 NFL Season Week 7 Betting Odds, Preview, and Prediction

The Denver Broncos and the Cleveland Browns are licking their respective wounds after suffering double-digit losses in Week 6. Both teams are also 3-3 entering Week 7, and a win on Thursday night’s primetime clash will put only one team back on the winning track as we approach the midway point of the 2021 NFL season. Read on for our odds and preview for the Denver Broncos vs. Cleveland Browns Week 7 divisional matchup below. And to be on top of all the developments from the ongoing 2021 NFL season and beyond, head on over to Nitrogen Sports Blog after this. 2021 NFL Season Week 7: Denver Broncos vs. Cleveland Browns preview and odds  Where: FirstEnergy Stadium, Cleveland, OH When: Thursday, October 21, 2021, 8:20 PM ET Odds: Denver Broncos (+3) at Cleveland Browns (-3); total: 42.0 Where to Watch: FOX What to know about the Denver Broncos Denver Broncos vs. Cleveland Browns betting odds for Denver: +3 Neither home-field advantage nor dysfunction in their opponents’ coaching staff was enough to prevent the Denver Broncos from losing their Week 6 game against the Las Vegas Raiders, 34-24. After a 3-0 start, Denver has now lost three straight with the spike in competition over those last three outings proving to be too much for Vic Fangio’s boys from Mile High. The Broncos’ defense allowed just 8.6 points per game in their first three games against the Giants, Jaguars, and Jets. Since then, the Ravens, Steelers, and Raiders have put up an average of 28 points per game. As such, their supposedly stout D must be able to stop a Cleveland offense lacking a good number of its top weapons (more on the Browns’ situation below). Elsewhere, Teddy Bridgewater and the offense also have to rediscover chemistry that was present early into their campaign. Although Bridgewater completed 34 of his 49 pass attempts for 334 passing yards and three touchdowns, he did also throw three costly interceptions and lost a fumble to be held accountable for all four of Denver’s turnovers in Week 6. What to know about the Cleveland Browns Denver Broncos vs. Cleveland Browns betting odds for Cleveland: -3 The Cleveland Browns faced the hottest team in the league in Week 6 and crumbled under pressure, as the Arizona Cardinals spoiled the party in the Dawg Pound by way of a 37-14 win to remain the only undefeated team left in the NFL this season. After a 42-point explosion the week prior in a tight loss to the Chargers, the Browns have now to put up just 14 points for the second time in three games. Baker Mayfield was rendered rather inept, with the former first-overall pick going 19-of-28 for 234 passing yards, two TD passes, and one INT. Mayfield failed to get the passing game going without a running game, as Cleveland mustered up just 73 rushing yards on 19 carries against the Cards. More bad news from the Browns camp comes in the form of the calf injury sustained by running back Kareem Hunt, who’s now expected to miss several weeks. Hunt now joins stud back Nick Chubb (calf as well) on the injury list, eliminating Cleveland’s top two offensive weapons. It’s also unfortunate that the team has to play on a short week, as perhaps Chubb would’ve been more ready to suit up on a Sunday rather than this Thursday’s primetime showdown.   [dynamic_cta header_upper="BET BITCOIN ON" header_lower="2021 NFL SEASON" content="Join our 2021 Nitro NFL Survivor Pool contests right now to win even more bitcoin from the regular season action ahead!" link="https://n2g.io/9a69f70" link_text="BET NOW" new_tab="1"]   Denver Broncos vs. Cleveland Browns betting trends Denver is 3-5 in its last eight road games (4-4 ATS). The point total also went under in five of those eight matches away from the Rockies. Cleveland is 8-3 at home since the start of last season, but just 4-7 against the spread. The team is just 1-8 against the Broncos dating back to the start of the new millennium (2-6-1 ATS). What’s your Denver Broncos vs. Cleveland Browns Week 7 prediction? Both the Browns and Broncos are reeling, as their respective strengths have suddenly become their weaknesses. In turn, this Week 7 TNF clash can go either way. Unless either Chubb or Hunt is cleared to play on Thursday, the Broncos might actually have the slight edge to bounce back with a huge road victory. 3 Reasons Why the Buccaneers Will Take Down Dak Prescott and the Cowboys in Week 1 of the 2021 NFL Season

The reigning and defending Super Bowl champions are ready to take on the new NFL season. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are rightfully considered by many as the clear-cut favorites to win their Week 1 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys. But what exactly makes the Bucs heavy favorites against the Cowboys and their prolific offense with a returning Dak Prescott under center? Read on as we break down three reasons why the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will defeat the Dallas Cowboys in their Week 1 Thursday Night Football showdown below. And to be on top of all the developments from the NFL offseason and beyond, head on over to Nitrogen Sports Blog after this. TB Stands For Triumphant Bucs There’s no better marriage in the NHL than future Hall-of-Fame quarterback Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Not only do Brady and Tampa Bay share the same initials, but they also won a Lombardi Trophy together in the very first year of TB12’s arrival in Florida. The Buccaneers, who are (-8.0) favorites to win Thursday night’s clash against Dallas, even have the fortune of most of their starters from the 2020 season’s title-winning roster back for another crack at the championship, meaning that stability in an already dominant Bucs roster gives a significant edge to them in the season opener over a Cowboys team that was utterly disappointing last year. No Cause for Quinn-cern Most fans are aware that Tampa Bay’s defense is second-to-none in the NFL. However, how does Dallas’ own D look after some tweaks in the preseason?  [dynamic_cta header_upper="EARN MORE BITCOIN" header_lower="CHOOSE ANY NITRO NFL SQUARES CONTESTS TO JOIN" content="Don't get left out. There's always an available Nitro Squares Contest available to play." link="https://n2g.io/91b1924" link_text="BET NOW" new_tab="1"]  Well, the Cowboys hired former Falcons head coach and defensive guru Dan Quinn as their new defensive coordinator to give head coach Mike McCarthy more control on the offensive side of the ball. However, Quinn’s tenure in Atlanta ended on a rather sour note, with the Falcons’ defense barely able to keep up with the league’s high-flying offenses before he was released.  The Cowboys do not have any elite talents nor proven chemistry on defense, though. This should lead to the Bucs exploiting these weaknesses with their potent passing attack regardless of Quinn’s new defensive schemes that he brought to America’s Team.    [dynamic_cta header_upper="BET BITCOIN ON" header_lower="2021 NFL SEASON" content="Join our 2021 Nitro NFL Survivor Pool contests right now to win even more bitcoin from the regular season action ahead!" link="https://n2g.io/9a69f70" link_text="BET NOW" new_tab="1"]   Sailing Through Favorable Winds (and Wins) The oddsmakers have never been against Brady for most of his decorated career and that has certainly rubbed off on Tampa Bay’s recent success. Last season, including the playoffs, the Buccaneers went a perfect 11-0 in games wherein they were favored to win by no fewer than four points (7-4 ATS).  The Bucs are currently well within the range of making that 12-straight victories are favorites to win by more than a field goal, and the Cowboys are far from the three teams that beat them at Raymond James last season. Those teams were the Chiefs, Rams, and Saints, with each of those standout franchises having made a Conference Championship Game appearance at least once over the past three seasons. 3 Reasons Why the Cowboys Will Upset Tom Brady and the Buccaneers in Week 1 of the 2021 NFL Season

America’s Team will be back under the national spotlight to kick off the 2021 NFL regular season this Thursday night. The Dallas Cowboys are looking to turn their fortunes around this year but will face the reigning Super Bowl champions in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as a formidable opponent in their season opener.  Read on as we break down three reasons why the Dallas Cowboys will beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in their Week 1 Thursday Night Football showdown below. And to be on top of all the developments from the NFL offseason and beyond, head on over to Nitrogen Sports Blog after this. Dak is Back... Alright! Had it not been for the gruesome injury that Dak Prescott suffered in Week 5 of the previous season, the Dallas Cowboys could probably have easily won the middling NFC East division race. But alas; the football gods had other plans in mind for the former Offensive Rookie of the Year and two-time Pro Bowl selection.  [dynamic_cta header_upper="EARN MORE BITCOIN" header_lower="CHOOSE ANY NITRO NFL SQUARES CONTESTS TO JOIN" content="Don't get left out. There's always an available Nitro Squares Contest available to play." link="https://n2g.io/91b1924" link_text="BET NOW" new_tab="1"]  The Cowboys, who are (+8.0) underdogs to win in Week 1 over the Buccaneers, will surely relish the return of their starting quarterback in hopes of stunning the defending champs. On the other hand, in two career games against Tampa Bay, Prescott has been sacked four times and only has one passing touchdown. The affable gunslinger last faced the Bucs in 2018, though, and has taken huge strides in his development under center since then. Aerial Artillery Aplenty  Similar to the Buccaneers, the Cowboys’ offense is never short on downfield weapons for Prescott to work with once more. Dallas has a three-headed receiving corps made up of Amari Cooper, CeeDee Lamb, and Michale Gallup. These three wideouts are each capable of finishing the season with 1,000-yard campaigns through the air, which could also be said about Tampa Bay’s triad of Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, and Antonio Brown. But unlike the Bucs, the Cowboys have a stud running back in Ezekiel Elliott who can provide balance as a backfield threat to further complement Dallas’ balanced and talent-filled roster. Having the edge at running back over Tampa Bay’s shared backfield situation between Ronald Jones and Leonard Fournette could end up being the key factor that leads the ‘Boys to an upset.   [dynamic_cta header_upper="BET BITCOIN ON" header_lower="2021 NFL SEASON" content="Join our 2021 Nitro NFL Survivor Pool contests right now to win even more bitcoin from the regular season action ahead!" link="https://n2g.io/9a69f70" link_text="BET NOW" new_tab="1"]   Bucking the Trends Against the Bucs  Let’s not forget that the Buccaneers attained huge success just the previous season when Brady came to the Sunshine State. Prior to TB12’s arrival in Tampa Bay, though, the Cowboys have pretty much dominated the Bucs in the regular season. Dallas has won seven of their last eight meetings against Tampa Bay dating back to 2006 (4-3-1 against the spread) and has a 15-4 lifetime record against the relatively young Floridian franchise. The Cowboys shouldn’t draw too heavily from their past glories, though, as all three of their most recent wins over the Bucs were each decided by seven points or less.
